Our research group is deeply involved in designing and developing various organic molecular and macromolecular functional materials for diverse applications spanning from biological imaging, OLED, electronic fabrication and so on. While applied organic synthesis is one of our main focuses, we are also involved understanding the various aspects of molecular reactivity and specialized organic transformations. Various aspects of our current research activities include, 1. Design and development of molecular and macromolecular organic materials. 2. Organic materials for OLED application 3. Design and development of organic and organic-inorganic hybrid photoresists 4. Long-range emissive dyes for fluorescence imaging 5. Organic transformations 6. Fundamental aspects of molecular materials 7. Process development for industrially important chemicals 8. Design and development of anti-reflective coating materials
